What it is
Once you have accepted a written quote, Darcy fits the floor in your home: carpet stretched and gripped, sheet vinyl laid and sealed at the joins, and LVT, laminate or engineered wood clicked or bonded into place, depending on the range.
How it works
Fitting is priced on the actual floor area of the room, not the larger ordered area used for materials, because that is the area a fitter physically works across. A job-level minimum charge applies to very small rooms, and stairs are priced by the step rather than by area, since winders and the landing both take extra time.
What to expect on the day
Most single rooms are fitted within a day. Furniture generally needs to be cleared from the room beforehand; if that is not possible, a furniture-moving service can be added, priced as its own line. Removal of an old floor covering is not offered in this preview. Discuss the preparation needed before a fitting date is agreed.
