Measuring and planning

Before any flooring is ordered or fitted, Darcy visits your home to measure every room properly: the longest and widest points, the perimeter, doorways, and anything irregular about the shape that an online estimate cannot see, such as an alcove or a chimney breast.

The booking preview shows the information needed to plan a visit. A real appointment is not arranged here. Darcy comes to you, measures the rooms you want done, checks the subfloor for anything that needs addressing, and talks through roll width, seams and rotation where they apply. You are given a full written, itemised price before anything is booked in.

The visit usually takes between twenty and forty minutes depending on how many rooms are involved. There is no charge and no obligation at any point: you only commit once you have seen the exact price and chosen to go ahead.
